The Formenti shipyard, created in 1979, has a long tradition of manufacturing inflatable rubber boats, with meticulous craftsmanship. Today the For-Sea range of boats is sold in all major European markets. Company growth and the success of the product are related to the choice of quality, rather than quantity, investments in R & D, the use of choice materials and the advanced technology created in a modern, well-organized production facility.

ZAR 43 It is the "little one" of the family. But maybe the most amazing one. ZAR 43 is 4.50 meters long and 2.16 meters wide; it offers liveability, safety, comfort and performances that are hard to see in a traditional 5.5-meter long rubber dinghy. Even if mathematicians don’t like it (but as you well know sometimes math can be an opinion), it has been able to show that 4.50 can be equal to 5.50. Absolutely safe and comfortable transportation of 7 persons, with huge peaks, it can bear a 90 HP and it sails fast and slender like a squirrel with a motor "without a licence".  It has two separate sun bathing beds (the front one is almost as big as a double bed), it has a fuel capacity of 100 litres and a water capacity of 50 litres without taking away any passenger space. Just like its bigger brothers, it has tubulars with 6 compartments and it can be provided with a roll bar, shower, awnings and tents for nautical camping. And it is static self-emptying, just like them! Even for this non-negligible feature ZAR 43 is unique. 43 does not have any competitor simply because it is a ZAR, a little gigantic ZAR.>>>

ZAR 47 Half way between small and medium rubber dinghies for the external dimensions, Zar 47 can be located in the second category for liveability, comfort and sailing qualities. Four spacious front running seats are available.  Like all the other ZAR it has two separate sun bathing beds of amazing dimensions, 4.86 meters long and 2.32 wide. The loading capacity are stunning: 6 enormous peaks (of which one is required for mooring equipment, oars, mooring lines etc.) that are easy to access. It is streamlined and slender and every detail has been built with special care. The balance between elegance and practicality, space and solidness are unique. Perfect balance even for its sailing performance: very supple and easy to manoeuvre, it assures soft impact with the waves even on high speed. “Slim” like all the ZAR models, 47 is ideal for who requires good performance, space, comfort and construction quality, but don’t want to renounce to a means that has moderate dimensions and therefore easy to move with a dolly.>>>

ZAR 53 It is the ZAR of records: (comfortable 8 front running seats, a double double bed, 8 peaks to stow goods and a range of unique combinations seats/sun bathing bed/bed/table. This boat has revolutionised the concept of the rubber dinghies, in only 5.35 meters it withholds all the innovations introduced by "ZAR project". Ideal for the family, that can enjoy wonderful autonomous nautical camping days (and nights); ZAR 53 is excellent for all purposes. It bears high-rank motors (135 HP) and offers remarkable performance, or moderate ones (70 HP) without disadvantages for pleasant sailing. It transports 10 persons, it has 130 litres of fuel capacity and 55 litres of water capacity under the walk floor without diminishing the passengers and peaks space. Everything has been planned and built for maximum comfort. The hull is deep and long as much as the one of many bigger boats, it offers soft sailing on the waves, stable tacking and agility, all qualities that are unique in its category (and in the ones above). ZAR 57 & ZAR 57 Twin Zar 57 is born as the initiator of the entire family, and still today is furnished with a single-seat console located in the middle of the boat in both longitudinal and transversal directions in order to give the pilot total control of the means and an appropriate barycentre positioning. Authentic innovation laboratory provided with a very comfortable aft convertible into a 2 metre deep sunbathing area (or bed). The stem is equipped with a wide sunbathing bed that can be extended to the same length by means of the appropriate extensions, table and pillows included. Just like all the other ZAR models, 57 is provided with huge and versatile peaks and large liveable spaces thanks to the dimensions of the seats and of the walking surfaces. The location of the motor behind the aft cones allows better performance and less noise that is very appreciated.  The shipís hull, that is particularly well balanced for what concerns performance and soft waves, has allowed ZAR 57 to win three editions of the Italian Endurance Championship in its category, dominating all the contestants with rough sea. The Twin version has building characteristics that are the same as the ones of ZAR 57, except for the console. Conceived in order to offer maximum comfort and practicality for the pilot and co-pilot, the Twin console has more liveable space than model 57 without renouncing to the qualities of the one-seater console. The driving space remains located in the middle of the boat in both longitudinal and transversal directions for total control of the means. It isn’t a single console, but a single one enlarged but divided in two separate blocks. For the pilot: driver’s place with high ergonomic qualities and optimum steering wheel and instrument angulation that offers excellent standing or sitting driving conditions, the position of the gear/accelerator lever is on the right. With thumb trim command, wide compass and electronic equipment, electrical panel and watertight peak space. For the passenger: lifeline handle integrated in the handrail that surrounds the encircled windshield, watertight peak, wide shelf on which the radio can be placed. For the first time the special attention reserved to the pilot has been also given to the co-pilot passenger.  A console that once again can be considered as an initiator. >>>

ZAR 61 All components perfect balance is the value of this wonderful R.I.B. Easy on tow and for garaging, the ZAR 61 with a length of six meters offers to all its guests all the places and the comforts for a first quality life on board. There are ten peaks where You can stow unthinkable quantity of things, eight/nine forward running seats made with an anatomical profile, two huge sun beds bigger than in a two double bed, a two seaters console as comfortable and functional as in a Luxury Car, and a driver's couch carefully studied for a perfect driving position (standing up or sitting down). The ZAR 61 design is the most modern and practical one today available. And most of all is there a hull of a seven meters R.I.B.: long and deep for a very soft and dry impact on the waves, fast and safe also in the worst driving conditions, nimble and manegeable in the port manoeuvres. ZAR 65 & ZAR 65 Suite The natural ZAR 65 inclination for the comfort and for the open-air life was been the automatic incentive for the designers to make a special kind of ZAR, named "Suite". For that reason all the places on board was been thought of again for finding a new back area for eating, talking and living all together. The living-room suite is made with an "U" form and is able to easily receive four persons, other two persons can also stay sitting on the driver's couch turned in front. The table in the middle of the "U" can be quickly used for preparing, together with the extractable up part of the back seat, the same navigation back passengers seats of the ZAR 65. So, again more comfort, again another record. That's the ZAR way! >>>

ZAR 73 SkyDeck The new SkyDeck is probably the nicest Daycruiser with over 200hp you can still put on a trailer. The big advantage is, not only the compfort or space it offers, but more the elegance and practical use. With 7.3m it is normally very difficult to find a Daycruiser, that you can still transport by your own. The SkyDeck only weights 1.600 kg and can be pulled by a Golf if nessesary. ZAR 75 & ZAR 75 Suite What can we say about ZAR 75? The back peak is almost as big as a one-room flat and there are other 12 that can satisfy all the needs. It is a champion for what concerns conversion: it has nine front running seats that are just as comfortable as your living room, that in one second can be turned into a real solarium with a stretch of sun bathing pillows. Standing or sitting, driving comfort is assured by an intense seat and console ergonomic study.
